Need EU certificate for a DTM exhaust on a Celica T18 ! All certificate can help me !

Sorry for english, I'm from belgium !
I need you help !

I have buy in May a Toyota Celica STi 1.6 of 1991 in Germany (Offenburg).
This car have a DTM exhaust, the brand is : "Fortec" ! I can't found this brand ... si I can't contact it, is not www.fortec.de

What the problem ? Simply ! The Belgian car inspection want a paper of conformity for the exhaust ... they are stupid, they just want that I show a paper with my car and DTM exhaust ...

Here in Belgium and France, any body have a EU paper for a exhaust
But I have see that few german brand give certificate of conformity with is exhaust !
So, if you have a EU certificate, or a TüV certificate for your DTM exhaust and other ... please send me it ! I will edit it for my car and my exhaust, is not a problem for you !

So, please help me with a certificate, or Fortec ... all certificate for a exhaust are welcome ! Please send me them on laurent.p||scarlet.be (Remplace || by @).

Falls es Artikel mit einer KBA Nummer sind kann man beim Kraftfahrtbundesamt nachfragen, die teilen euch dann den Hersteller mit, Tel.: 0461 - 3160 , seid nett zu den Damen und Herren, schließlich wollen die auch nur das beste für euch...

Falls es ein Artikel mit einer Kennzeichung handelt, steht in der Regel zumindestens der Herstellername auf dem Artikel - dann nach der Adresse "googeln" und den Hersteller anschreiben.

Falls keine Kennzeichnung auf dem jeweiligen Artikel ist handelt es sich zu 90 % um Produktkopien, in dem Fall habt Ihr rechtlich gesehen pech gehabt.

You do not know the manufacturer:

If there is articles with a KBA number can one at the force travel Federal Office inquire, communicates you then the manufacturer, Tel.: 0461 - 3160(ger), are nicely to the ladies and Mr., finally want also only the best for you...

If it acts an article with a Kennzeichung, zumindestens the name of the producer usually stands on the article - then after the address "googeln" and the manufacturer write down.

But I can't find any info about this brand ... I haven't a KBA °

www.fortec.de not reply at my email, I will phone tomorow, but they don't make exhaust.
I have put the same topic in Celica Forum

And the seller of the car no reply at my email ... normaly he reply in few days, but nor reply since 10 days. I haven't his phone and I can't find it with http://www.telefonbuch.de

Yes, I thinks also that is a "Handwerker" exhaust !

So, I must find a example of a certificate paper and I will change it for my car ... I don't want buy a full Toyota exhaust for 550 € (- 20 %, My father work for Toyota) for a car of 2025 €

One of you have a EU certificate for this exhaust ? It's just a example for me !

hmm i don't really understand what's your problem.
the exhaust has allready been confirmed in your "fahrzeugbrief".
normaly the guy from the belgium TÜV should be ok with that.
the dekra conformation licence should allow you to install the exhaust tip,
yes you heard right: this document ist only for the tips, not for the whole exhaust system.
in my opinion this exhaust isn't an original aftermarket part. it looks like the whole thing
has been fused together from diverent parts. if this is right the exhaust system would be illegal!!!

how does the car look??? do the other (?) modifikations look professional or like somebody did them in his garage! you should always be carefull when you buy a tuned car!

Hi Burnout,

You can look the picture for see all exhaust !
I fact, for me the Dekra ... paper is not for this exhaust !

The Belgian TüV (www.goca.be) are ok for the "Fintec" because they are on fahrzeugbrief, but not ok for exhaust.
The "normes (ISO ...)" is not compatible between TüV and Goca

In all the exhaust look nice and right ... it have cost 2500 DM at seller.

on the pictures it doesn't look like its stainless steel
1200€ would be a hight price for a non-stainless steel ehxaust
