Jetta Iv Wheels !!! Help

I own VW JETTA (2001 year) and i have some questions.

First of all i would like to buy alloy wheels with r17 x 7j and i want to put 235/45 front and 255/40 back !
Will it be ok ? or it will be some difficulties to control and drive the car ? and to turn left and right ?

you can use rims in 18" x 8", they are fitting perfekt!
